Came to say Avalon, see that it's been suggested several times so I'll echo it.
Also as previously noted, old people love them, barely use them, maintain them then die and family members are often left to unload them. You're in Florida, prime Avalon hunting grounds.
Another Honda Accord would be my first choice. Mine is 22 with 252k and still going strong. Paid $2,500 11yrs ago. Or Toyota Camry. Or Buick LeSabre. Can find many low mile LeSabres for 2k.

Hyuandai, Kia, Mazda is what I’d look at
Nissan Versa or Versa Note gets my vote.. Fit is my next choice.
Can’t go wrong with an Avalon. I’d also look at a 7th gen Accord. My parents bought an’05 brand new and have put about 250k on it and it shows no signs of giving up. Aside from needing a clutch at 200k and new timing chain it’s been anvil reliable. L
side note: Honda mostly had the auto transmission issues worked out by ‘03
