So, the 99 miata sticker says sport s suspension.  My 2000 says std.

Google seems confused about this. No real answer.

I know the 99 has a torsen differential and leather. Brakes fit under 14 inch steel wheels.

What is the other differences? I havent found any additional chassis bracing, the shocks are black and factory.  I was under the impression that the sport included bilsteiens and stiffer spring rates and bracing, but that seams to overlap with the hard s suspension.

Whats the real breakdown here, and what is the good stuff for the daily?

From a random miata.net thread, seems accurate:

STD S had the 14" wheels

SPORT S gave you the 15" rims (same springs and shocks as STD-S)

HARD S was the Sport Suspension Option, Bilestin shocks, Sport springs, 12mm rear bar and STB.

They're all 17 years old at this point. I'd be considering what I'd put on to replace the worn stock stuff instead.

(deleted redundant and not entirely accurate suspension info).

All NB1s (99-2000) have the same bracing and the same brakes, the brakes are common with the 94-97 cars and will fit under 14 inch wheels even on cars that came with 15s from the factory.  The bigger "sport" brakes showed up in NB2s (2001-2005), as did the additional bracing.

Ok. Thanks y'all.

It really didn't feel any different or appear any different, but I wanted to be sure.
