C7 Vette, no question.

Maybe not that lurid of a red, but I like the Z51 option package. I also like that it's a new leftover with no miles on it. I can PM you the shipping address, even with shipping it to me, the total will be less than $70k. Thanks man!

Then again I'm also baffled that 4+ million people payed to download Kim Kardashian's game.
Heard that on the radio the other morning.
Professionally restored/built RA29 fastback Celica... with a 4V hemi fitted
FM Prepared Exocet
Plus
Supercharged LS motor
add some wheels and other things that cars need...probably get it under $70k
Flightservice - are you paying maintenance, taxes, and insurance?
If so, either a Focus RS or a new Prius. If not, I'll take whatever I can sell the easiest.
$70k invested well now should cover my son's college, if not college for multiple kiddos.

Nope just the car and the costs associated with it being purchased and ownership transferred to you.
Think of it as a Used car deal. Once it is off the lot it is yours.

Assuming you could find one of these for MSRP, that was my first choice too. I'm not sure what type of mark-up these are getting these days...
of course, the Porsche configurator tells me I can get a Cayman S with only the sport suspension, PDK, and delivery charge for $70k and still have enough left over for a cheap cheeseburger....
Given the choice, I'd ride the pony.
Just for E36 M3's & giggles, I hit AutoTrader and searched for cars with a V-8 and manual transmission. The results included 3 new GT350s within 200 miles of me listed for what they claimed was MSRP or less and under $70k. That was just on the first page of 25 from about 250 total listings. So if the dealers are advertising them online for MSRP or less, I'd think they can't then add any ADM. But I'm not an attorney and didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express recently either...
Edit: Just caught my mistake...the "R". Ooops, my bad, probably none of those currently available for $70k.
I was very surprised to see "regular" Mustang GT's up into the $60k+ price range.
Can I test drive some stuff first? I don't want to regret my free car after I take ownership

Ferrari 348s (bleh), 355s and carefully bought 360s can be had under 70k. Weird that 308s and mondials are closing in on that price range.

Colorado/Canyon Diesel, stick shift CX-5, TSX Wagon or Prius V for me. Any of those would swallow a bike and some bike parts easily.
For that kind of money, I could buy a Vanagon Syncro Full Westfalia camper with both locker differentials, a Zetec engine, and a disconnect for the front wheel drive. That is what I would probably buy. Preferably in white with a grey interior. I owned one in the past, with the stock engine and only a locking rear differential. Puch did a good job of converting them to 4 wheel drive, and they are remarkably capable off road. The frig will keep the beer cold for 3 weeks on 2 gallons of propane, and the beds are pretty comfortable.
Either that or a damned nice Pleasure Way Class B conversion with rear setee.
I sold my Synchro Westfalia just before the prices went nuts.

Price wise it will be close but I don't care.
I like your style.
Also, I will take one as well, granted it has a manual trans.

2012 ZR1.
BMW M2, "Starting at $51,700"
Or one of these.
I can't decide...

Define "car".
I would get a Sea Vee 290 with a dual axle trailer. It's got 4 wheels and a motor....sounds like a car to me.

I'll take one of these please...$64,100
I'd do this plus a $45K check to the boys up in Grand Junction for a V8 conversion and fox suspension upgrade.

Actually come to think of it, I could pay off the 5 (and drive it into the ground), get Mrs. DX a newer Mazda 6 and take the rest and pay off bills

I don't think "Car + cash" is part of the rules.
Some nice choices... A GT350 is tempting... I'd love to find a 550 Maranello... A Daytona or GT40 kit car would be considered... A $70K build-budget could probably get me damn close to the '69 Charger of my dreams...
In reality, I'd probably choose a used Sprinter with some custom RV conversion stuff done to it.
