I think I'm going this direction.  Konig Dail In 15x8 +35 and confirmed to clear R56 JCW brakes.  The come in at about 12.8 lbs, and call it $160 a corner.

I didn't realize they had those in +35?

I had +25 15x8 Dial ins with a 205/50 on my Saturn.  Great wheel and tire combo.

Damn... You're right. It's +25

I think the 15x9 is +35

The only 15x8 ET35 wheels I'm aware of (and would actually trust to track my car on) are Enkei PF01s and a couple months ago Konig released the Hypergrams in bronze/grey/carbon with machined lip at www.good-win-racing.com

The 6ULs used to come in 15x8 ET36 IIRC but those are all long gone, and I wouldn't track my car on them. Autocross? Sure.

I'm a huge fan of the Hypergrams. If they were released like 3 weeks earlier I'd have had those in 15x8 instead. I will still probably buy a set in the future for Hoosier use.

DTD has those in a 15x7.5  Might be worth asking them if they are getting the 8" version if you aren't in a hurry.

I really don't get why +35 isn't a more common offset.

It has to do with the manufacturing process from what I understand. Easier to add or remove inner barrel while leaving the outer face unchanged. They do that then make a much more minor adjustment on the mounting surface to make it an even 10mm difference instead of 12.7mm difference, etc. I wish I could cite a source, but a large vendor mentioned it in a forum post several years ago.

Ok, I guess I can follow that if they are making a 9" wheel.

For example, the 8"+25 and 9"+35 dekagram (or dial-in) makes sense.  But then a 7.5" with +35 offset?  That doesn't share the same outside face.  If you turned that into an 8" wheel, it would be +42.

Then of course in 16" 4x100, they have a +35 8" version - maybe because no 9" version will be made?

For a long time is seemed most wheels were offered in 15x7 ET35,  15x8 ET25, and 15x9 ET35 (for Miata fitments, that are in three widths for the same style wheel). Up until recently, 15x7.5 was not all that common aside from SCCA class targeting wheels. (STS and STF when it was still around). Even then the choices were slim (until Konig started making a bunch of new stuff after the Enkei flow forming patent expired).

Konig makes the Dekagrams in 7.5 ET35, 8 ET25 AND 35, 9 ET35, and 10 ET25.

I know the Miata fitment 8 ET 25 is popular because you can make it a bit wider and still got with stock style springs/shocks(like Koni Sports for instance, vs coilovers).

I'm positive it's not all from a wheel manufacturing standpoint of cost savings, some is also from popular/needed fitments. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Goodwin requested those ET35 15x8s be made exclusive for him because they're the only inexpensive option on the market now with 6ULs gone.
