When I think of van wheels, the only answer is usually Turbine wheels like this:

Trouble is, it's hard enough to find them in 6x5.5" and I don't think I've ever seen them in 16"
I would like to keep 16" for several reasons. 1) Towing/light off roading will be happening, 2) The previous owner put brand new E-range tires on that I don't hate. They're very H/T which isn't what I really need, but I suppose the option does exist to sell the whole wheel/tire package and get 17 or 18s, but that will kinda take away from some of the towing/off-roading things I want to do.
Factory tires are 16x7 or 16x8, 6x5.5" pattern, zero offset. Some sources tell me that it's a +3mm, but not really consequential.
So, help me pick some wheels. Either maybe find me some 16" turbines, or some other suggestion.

6 on 5.5" Turbines can be found. 16" isn't very likely, however, and the other issue is that even if you did find 16s, they have better than even chance of being 8" or wider. This, combined with the fact that your existing wheels have about an inch of positive offset, and turbine wheels of the period being zero to negative offset as they get wider results in a wheel that won't work on your van without flares. Truth be told, many of the custom vans of the day couldn't run a 8" or wider wheel with a decent tire without flares or hanging the tire way out of the wheelwheel, even though they were designed for zero offset wheels to begin with.
I will need to run flares and an extended pivot arm for the sliding door to fit 10" slots on the rear of my DogeVan.

The issue that you have is similar to when people want to run traditional dished wheel on most any late model vehicle. The offsets just don't work with the older style wheels.
I thought turbines were zero offset, which is what I have.
My wheels LOOK like they're positive offset, but they have a pretty tall "hat" in the middle. They're actually zero.
Update... I lied. The sources I found were incorrect. Mine are +30mm.... not +3mm.
So, scratch the turbines.

Man, its been a while since I've looked for wheels on a van or truck. I forgot how ugly most of the selection are. Not sure when it happened like that, but they damned sure haven't turned back from the trend of big and chunky with fake beadlocks around the edge.
American Racing always has a somewhat decent selection https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&initialPartNumber=AR626883B&wheelMake=American+Racing&wheelModel=AR62+Outlaw+II&wheelFinish=Black+Painted&showRear=no&autoMake=Chevrolet&autoModel=Express+Van&autoYear=2015&autoModClar=G2500+6-Lug
Edit: What's the exact year and model again? I just went with a '15 G2500 for this

I would choose to go with some GM factory truck wheels and some tires with a moderate "off road-ness" to them like some. Falken Widepeaks
Generally, take the look of a near stock 4x4 GM pick up and add it to your 4x4 (really awd) GM van.
I like factory wheels and I dislike black wheels
John... 06 Express AWD 1500. Same basic thing as what you looked up.
I did scroll through some of the GM truck wheels. There are some nice 18s from Sierras but not really what I'm looking for. I'd jump on some factory truck rims... if they made some that I liked. I'll keep looking.
The frustrating part is that I'm looking for a little bling, but there may be a 1-2" lift in the future. Most of the pretty wheels look great on a lowered or conversion van, but not so great on a lifted van.
I'm also trying to avoid the "small-hootus-bro-dozer" wheels like this:

I like these, but 20s off-road?

I really dig the Dajibans rocking Watanabes...

...but IDK how that would look with a high profile tire and big fender gap. It's also a lot easier to spend someone else's money
I can't for the life of me seem to be able to figure out how to grab a pic from the Tire Rack visualizer, but the KMC KM542 Impact kinda reminds me of a modern take on the turbine. The KM301 catches my eye as well. Price isn't awful on either.
Also, since the van is kinda cranberry colored, I wouldn't mind a bronze center with a polished lip:

Definitely. Kinda like the Japanese version of Minilites.
I'm with Mr_Asa. You need some black D windows on there.
Found at Summit, matte bronze, steel.

In reply to John Welsh :
Ok I could agree with bronze D windows also.

The Vision 353 might fit your needs.

Available in 16x8, 5 on 5.5", and under $150ea. Still not so sure on the backspacing, but since you are going up and not down with the van, you can probably make it work.

I'm not really a bronze wheel fan, but I've been liking these Method wheels lately.

Not sure why the image is huuuuuuuuuuuuuge......
Bronze would look good on that color. I like the steelies from summit.
Here are my choices from Tire Rack:
These are turbine-esque

Dirty Harry, can't beat the name!

Rally Wheels

Dakar

I like the American Racing Salt Flat wheels but WOW 40 pounds each...
I love these, I put a set on my Titan.

It's rare in that it looks great on a lowered street truck or on an off road truck...

Couldn't find a van, but here is a Tahoe that looks like it comes with the same wheels as your van stock...
