Yeah, I'm not in love those tires, and yeah, I'm not saving any money if I don't. But it puts rubber under the car for the cheapest total price. My main concerns are that I will get one season out of these and have to buy $600 worth of tires next spring too. Yes, I know, competitive people buy several sets a year, but I'm not one of those people.
If they fit under the car without a lot of BFH work (they don't), and if I had 700 lb springs (I don't) I might pull the trigger, but I guess I'll pass. Thanks!

OK, reviving my own zombie thread:
Back when this thread was live I ended up buying some used Runoffs qualifier Hoosier A7s in 225/45/15 (I think) and mounting them on new 15x9 +35 Konig Dial-Ins. They fit the car with minimal rubbing.
Last spring when the Hohos were dead I replaced them with Rival S 1.5s in 225/45/15 (I know) and they also fit with minimal rubbing.
This spring I have been offered a great deal on some lightly-used A7s in 245/40/15 mounted on 15x9 Advanti Storms in (I assume) +35 offset. These were sticker tires and new wheels a few years ago and only have a couple of autocross events on them. Don't know the build date but it's at least 2 years ago, maybe 3.
If the tires I've had on the car fit OK, will the 245/40s fit? Assuming they've been properly stored (fairly safe assumption) do they have life left?
I really wasn't planning to buy anything for this car this year but the price is a good deal. Like, the tires are basically free deal. Thanks.
I've fit that size tire on an NB and had to roll the fenders just a bit. You should be fine.

In reply to KyAllroad (Jeremy) :
They're coming off an NB. My car is an NA, but as described the 225/45 A7s worked.
Thanks.
