Either they're flaming them or one has a V8 in it.
Does maniacle mean maniacal? Otherwise I'm not sure what they are saying, but it seems like they like it.
FM just keeps raising the bar. The fact that they don't have a hoard of obnoxious online complainers, is testament to the quality. Awesome. (I just wish I wasn't many inches too tall to fit in one)
... And it must be tough times when a written publication's social media editor can't spell.

Instagram posts are editable. Am I hired yet?
This really is the second coming of the Shelby Cobra. Would a new VIN solidify that statement or can it stand the test of time on being a packaged addon? Did Yenko/Ruf/Old AMG have their own VINs?

Ha. I didn't even catch that. Sad part it was done on a phone with autocorrect.

Shelby had his own Manufacturers Certificate that they added to the Shelby-Dodges they modified in the eighties. Basically they were re manufactured by Shelby as they would buy them brand new from Dodge (at full price) and then remove the stuff they didn't want and add the Shelby parts and pieces.
Slightly different process to what FM is doing, but they can certainly modify brand new cars.
As for the other companies mentioned, they usually would add a plaque or ID of some sort to the car to indicate that it was one of their cars.

Yenko as far as I know did not have their own VIN numbers but kept a very good record of the cars VIN numbers and who they were sold to.
I can tell you that it's fun talking to Hot Rod writers as opposed to some of the more major magazines. You have a totally different level of discussion when it comes to things like engine swaps, because they KNOW engine swaps.
Hot Rod doesn't have a social media editor. They're actually a really small staff. That was posted by Phillip, who's a proper gearhead, has crewed Pikes Peak multiple times and likes cars that turn. Cut him some slack on maniacal. He's one of us.

Ruf did/does. Their cars start as a body in white, purchased from Porsche as parts.

My phone doesn't know how to spell E36M3.
Slack given.

Ok all has been forgiven.

Mine keeps changing words on me. I never have a cluster of ducks at work.
