Well, the BMW appears to be sold and I'm looking for a good track/street car to replace it.

I was thinking about a 944 turbo S, as I've owned one before. Great track car, kind of a miserable street car due to the immense turbo lag, which isn't helped by the altitude where I live.

Started thinking that an LSx 944 would be a great car. Of course none are listed on the porsche forums, I seem to recall that there's a specific forum for these.

If there is and someone knows of it, could you drop me the url?

Or if anyone knows of one of these for sale, please let me know. I want a well done car, everything working, AC there and working, radio, etc, etc...

TIA!

Basically they detail how to do the swap without paying Renegade for their relatively poor customer service.

I know it's not a LSx, but maybe have a look at 944 S2s? Not quite as powerful as the Turbo but the one I drove seemed to be pretty decent DD material and still fast enough to make sense on a track.

Mind you, the latter might be due to my abilities more than anything else.

Ever since Renegade bought that forum, it's been neutered and a lot of the members have left. I thought there was another forum that most of them migrated to, but all I found were two other splintered forums.

And this one on a supplier's site: http://944hybrids.forumotion.com/forum.htm

How about a 3rd gen RX-7? They are truly beautiful cars and several LS1 versions are for sale right now on www.v8rx7forum.com.

You'll need to log in to post.
