Building race comms systems for friends has inadvertently started to become a thing for me. My issue is finding the parts to make a headset, particularly the speakers and mics, that are just leads. I loath buying systems like the link below, and then trying to cut/strip/splice the thin wire to make whatever connections I'm asked to do.
Does anyone have a source for cheap speakers and microphones that are only leads?

You might want to look into using Autocom motorcycle systems. They're the best wired system and they even have a headset for the crew chief. They are adaptable to a range of radios as well as cell phones. The higher end ones have noise reduction and auto volume control. And if you want to play music at the same time, there's support for that!
I've been using their systems on motorcycles for over 25 years and though they've been eclipsed by the newer bluetooth systems, they still rock for wired systems and we've used them to great effect in low budget race applications.
Here's their website in The Old Country. I don't think there's an importer to The Colonies anymore but you can score most of their stuff on eBay...

Thanks, I will have a look.
I should specify that we are doing car to pits communication for endurance racing. Where everyone has their preferred jack/ptt/radio, so I am splicing for TP120, TRRS, K1, RJ45, PL201, ect.
Free If you want them (you pay shipping or pick then up), I bought these when I owned a Endurance team, I believe they are the same.
