if looking new go to truecar and price out the truck you want. that's how I found my dealer who was 4-5k less asking price than the other guys. They also did not haggle and made my buying experience waaaay nicer. Everything was on a touchpad in front of me no waiting for them to talk to the finance guy etc...

I believe Sonic owns that one and is a mega chain with many different brands. (I'd look and see if one is near you.)

The salesguy was super helpful and not pushy at ALL. (they do not work on commision but are salaried as well.)

It's smaller than those mentioned but keep in mind is about the size of a 90s full-size pickup.

Chevy Colorado/gmc clone, they seem to be outright dominating the midsize game right now and it is the first time I've seen GM do an Interior worth a damn in a truck.

And the ecoboost are thirsty as soon as you start hauling anything at all. They have power. If you want all the powers, get an ecoboost. If you want mpg, get a 6 speed 5.3 gm and a tune.
This. But if you decide to, change the oil OFTEN. Every EB engine sample I get is running stupid rich and the oil is half gas. They went rich to be safe, but holy hell.... that oil is like water after 5k.

That is an issue with DI motors, though not as big of one as some people think, IMO. I've had 3 UOAs done on my F-150, and while one was above 2% (2.5), the others were well below. Nonetheless, I make it a point to change my oil at 5k intervals, no matter what.
