He'd been sucking up to them for so long, I thought they made him a mod to shut him up.
I thought it worked.

shameless plug: If you're in central Florida, sign up for MSCC's Feb. 20/21 autocross school.
Joey, you should put your shameless plug in your signature so you don't have to keep typing it, or at least cut and pasting it.

[giggle] I feel dumb....I've been posting here since we were on the old board, and I wasn't even aware of the signatures option. Thanks, I just changed my profile so I can see them.

I thought Stroh's was acquired by Miller, which then became SASMiller, the South African conglomerate. Could be wrong though.....

Part of the stroh's brewing company were sold to Miller and parts were sold to Pabst. The stroh's brand of beer is part of Pabst, which is still American.
Keystone? C'mon, for the cheap stuff you gotta go Busch.

C'mon, when you're paying the homeless guy in smokes to buy your beer, you need bang for the buck, which means Natty Ice!
All this talk of beer makes me wish that I were not on the particular combination of antibiotics that I am. And I even have a poverty pack of Old Speckled Hen in the fridge.
Well, it's a well known fact that there's a secret society of the five wealthiest people in the world, known as "The Pentavirate" who moderate this board.
They meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as "The Meadows". They are; The Queen, The Vatican, The Gettys, The Rothschilds, and Colonel Sanders...before he went teets up.
(Oh, I hated the Colonel with is wee beady eyes, and that smug look on his face. "Oh, you're gonna buy my chicken! Ohhhhh!")

And, you should take the word "[traditional native American water transport device]" out of it. Otherwise you are effectively tagging any thread you respond to.
.... hows that for self moderation?

Fair enough. I only put it in their because I was afraid that someone would accuse me of that anyway since I'm wanting to draw attention to something that is of financial interest to my club.
It will actually be a really good event. Our instructors have had a lot of experience in both autocross and track driving: Matt Ferratusco (Skippy instructor and stunt driver for MGM), Gerardo Bonilla (Skippy instructor and ALMS driver), Marc Dana (who helped develop the Evolution driving schools), and Chris Wells (a long-time autocrosser and a Chin Motorsports instructor.)
