I saw a tank (M1?) going down the highway with the rest of a convoy. It's turret was point backwards and was in the middle of said convoy. But it was quite the show stopper. I think you need the rubber pads in the track to do that.
Slow, thirsty, and utterly pointless. You'd think "maybe awesome off-road". Nope, tanks suck at that too and AAA is going to laugh when you call them to tow you out of some boggy ground.
I did see an M1 blow a hole clean through one of these in the Storm. Kinda like a .22 through a beer can.

True, but this raises utterly pointless to an art form. And while $50,000 is a lot of money, there's a lot of people who would spend a smaller chunk of change for a chance to drive it around an obstacle course. Get a tank or two, a plot of land without too many pesky zoning restrictions, a couple junk cars, and you're in business.

They all have rubber pads. The M1 will do 60+ on pavement without much issue. Turret backwards is standard for travel, takes up the smallest footprint that way (also, driver cant see the gun barrel).
