I remember seeing one of these on here awhile back and I stumbled upon one for $150.
Are these worthwhile to own? I'm not exactly sure what I'll use it for except that it's neat and cheap, maybe I'll run something small on it since I'm off grid and I can't imagine its very fuel thirsty.
They only put out 300 watts so they're not useful for much more than a few lightbulbs. They probably are worth more as a collector's item than anything else these days. If it works, $150 is probably a good price - a quick search online shows people valuing them anywhere between $500 and $800. Here's a page with some information on them. https://global.honda/heritage/episodes/1965thee300.html
Wow, that is so cool! I never knew that these things existed.
That's ridiculously cute. From the link that @Stuart in mn posted:
When at last he saw the completed cubic design, Mr. Honda pointed out that the handle was too long. He suggested that the handle be shortened so that when the generator was carried by a man and a woman, their hands would touch one another.

Maybe it'll run a little dehumidifier or a dorm fridge or something but yeah not a lot of power output. The price is very reasonable.

I found out about them on here, I think it was a different model though
