E85 is not available here and I need more octane. I want the best pump as I would rather something reliable that won't fail during boosting 30+ psi.
Plan to control the system through ecu so don't need a kit as such...
Any real world experience out there on decent pumps?
Aquamist pumps and kits are big with the Mazdaspeed guys. They scale up well and have a failsafe which is primarily what makes them attractive.
They're something like 2x the cost of an AEM kit though.
I was going to build my own from an Espresso machine boiler pump, powered with a small inverter.
That way I could overcome boost pressure easily with enough pressure to enhance atomization.
Nozzles in the intake plenum?
