You win the internet for having a car piloted by bacon.

Nope, this guy wins the internet. You need to start another thread and tell us all about this thing. Now.

Hear, hear. That thing has to show up as a feature, not just a Reader's Ride!

Gosh, I guess I need to get pics of the rally Tal[hoon] without all of the feminist stickers on it! Or maybe one of the Evo this weekend...

My in-box has been slowly filling up--thanks! A couple of quick notes:

Please e-mail the high-resolution photos to me. The hotlinked ones almost aren't large enough. Our minimum photo spec is 1280x960 pixels, but bigger is always better.

What words to enclose? Tell me something about the car: What mods were done? What makes this car so special? Why did you buy this car? Why does it make you happy?

Also, don't forget the basics: your full name; year, make and model of the car; etc.

Thanks.

Here is the same chassis with a different body. They can be switched in 45 minutes.

Dragon is owned now by my brother in law. I built the original cars in my garage. Some people wanted to build them so we sold some kits. It was a hobby for me. I gave the business away a few years ago. I moved to the Adirondacks few years ago and have been working on my own.

The new car I am working on uses a 1990-2004 Miata. The suspension and drivetrain will bolt into my space frame. Here is a photo shop picture of the body I am working on for it.

Are those MINI cooper headlights??!!! Bloody HELL, man!

The budget may not be GRM, but the DIY engineering sure as crap is.

I'd love to see more on this one, and the Miata kit is promising but the body proportions are...off, to my eye. the middle's too thick or something.

I am currently working on the body for the Miata. It will have more curve from the front to the rear fenders. I think this will give it SEXY hips.

They are MIni Cooper headlights. Thanks for all of the comments.

I love the Corvair!
