So as a partial trade i aquired a 94 accord 4 cylinder 5 speed. junkyard engine replacement and all new front suspension components along with a new passenger axle. Car made violent lurches and noise when trying to make a tight right turn. Can you figure out why?
top is the correct axle. Bottom is a new already broken at the inner cv axle for a 93 accord. im just suprised they even thought this would work!
This custom exhaust probably should mean i wasnt suprised though!

Blue is the fastest muffler color.

I think they're doing the blue muffler wrong:
Even better is the fact that its reduced down to 1 1/2in od for that muffler. its no racecar but im sure it isnt helping!
Come on, everyone knows all honda parts are interchangeable.
at least they used the ultra lightweight thin gauge hanger wire to hold the muffler to the car..
Jeeze guys the point was the diffrent axles, not the racecar muffler.
The bottom one is thinner and possibly shorter, but without having the left end of the CV visible it could be just an overstretched boot on installation. Believe me, I got that you were talking about the axles, but it isn't very obvious from that picture why it would fail-and that bike muffler is funny.
Could just be that the parts store gave them the wrong axle and they didn't notice.

It got the price cut in half..
Theres an inch diffrence in the axles. He ordered it for the 93 that the engine and trans came from.

If you want to sell the HMF I might be interested if priced right. it will be returned to bike usage. One of my loaner xr100's need a better muffler.
I dont use paypal otherwise you could have it dirt cheap. Its worth about 5 cents in scrap.
After a scare last night everything on the car is sorted except for the speedo and body damage. Its ready for snowtreads!
So the cars running and driving fine, but i cant stand it. Cant pinpoint a reason why but like my civic this car gives me no enthusiasm for driving. Its everything i need for a daily but its just meh. Anyone else ever have this issue?

there's a saturn in the build thread section with that same complaint. I get it, there have been plenty of cars i've driven that i couldn't enjoy. Some of them i didn't even want to try driving in a spirited fashion. It's hard to point out what makes some interesting and others not, though I do have my theories...
after some research helping me figure out this thing doesnt use the bearing strut tops im used too, i found my last front end noise! The new upper control arm is wiggling around on the bolts. Monday ill figure out weather it has the wrong bolts or just not tightened! Too lazy to pull it apart tonight.
