The human brain is designed to see faces in things. I know that I like car fronts with look like eyes and a mouth more than others. What I cannot stand are headlights made of horizontal rows of LEDs and hideous faux-chrome grilles. This means that Lincoln, Ford, Cadillac and Acura are out for me. Bring back the round headlight!
When they're all designed to meet similar safety and fuel mileage/emissions regs --- they all end up looking similar. The wind tunnel ends up doing more of the shaping than the designers do. C'est la vie!
Which is why there are about only 5 new cars (up to $35,000) which I could afford that I might actually buy. However, there are none I like so much that I feel compelled to purchase.
