That's pretty expensive for a four door Cadillac, and judging on what they've replaced, there's a good chance that it was sitting for an extended time.

Growing up, my dad had a '66 that looked almost like that. It was so wide, I remember sleeping in the "ledge" by the back window. It had 4 cigarette lighters, all windows and qtr windows were powered, cruise, radio scan, etc. it even let you drive with the high beams on and it would automatically turn them off when it sensed incoming traffic.

429 means it will get 11 mpg and bout 14 with EFI/Carb kit.
8500$ is a good bit of money for a 62+ caddi though maybe 6K. Even in Canadian funny money.

I'd love to have something like converted with a modern drivetrain. LS1/good brakes/auto/decent tunes.......would be an amazing long haul road trip car.

The 425 in my (slightly newer) Cadillac doesn't do that bad on fuel.
