I've been looking at bridles online, and it seems that the longest one you can get has 30 inch "legs" (by which I assume they mean the straps).  A little work with holding a tape measure over the car says that will put the tow hook roughly underneath the center of the oil pan, which seems like it'd be a major PITA to hook up.  This car doesn't exactly have a lot of ground clearance...  So I'm still looking into it.

Its generally not to hard to hook up.  I would pull out excess cable, slide it in behind one front wheel, insert the hook and then slide it across to the other side. You have an advantage in that it’s your car so you can push or drive it fairly easily.  You can set it on the ground with the legs spread and then roll the car on top of it.
