Truck is more versatile. Changing towing needs? No problem.

Rides like a Cadillac with this trailer on it. Was still able to safely stop it when we had a short on the brakes. Also rides like a Cadillac with 3 yards of mulch in the bed, which occurs pretty often for some reason.

Seats 6, but the dog usually gets the back bench to herself. Gets 22 mpg empty and 16 mpg hauling 3 horses. We made a 9 hour trip with stops only for gas in the fall and got out feeling fresh and comfortable. Bought it for $18k.

Do we drive it every day? No. Because we both work in the city and parking it would be a nightmare (we've done it though). If I still lived in Vermont I would probably drive it all the time.

I just got one and once I was over the geez-this-is-big thing, really like it. And at least for me, it does indeed get 22 mpg as advertised... as long as you treat the gas pedal really delicately.

It actually gets the same average mileage as my Toyota V6 Tacoma, which is saying something...
