My wifes 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan has a power lift gate, the strut that goes from the motor to the door came loose this morning. So...I checked it out and found that it had unthreaded from the door end. I tried to re thread it in and found it to be stripped: as in - the threads were pretty well gone off the bolt. As I moved the strut the other end broke off...joy!
So I'm trying to find the part and not having any luck since they call these parts by odd names. Anyone able to tell me what its called or where to find it? Much appreciated if so, if not just laugh!
OK, so I did find this arm and link package but there is no picture of it so I don't know if its right. The part numbers are below if anyone has access to a way to view the parts;
05083376AC; 05019035AA; 050833376AA; 05083376AB
Thanks in advance!

See? That's what happens when you use the power liftgate to pull dead X1/9s onto your trailer.
why didn't I think of that, it would have saved a lot of time!

I"m sitting here, at Chrysler world headquarters and am unable to see the pictures so I can match up those numbers with pictures. How frustrating!
The picture is not of the offending part, but of the van towing a X19
I spent hours searching the web and haven't found anything!

I see 2 Chryslers in that picture. Or should I say 2 Fiats.

The three 05083376A* numbers (one has an extra 3, right?) are the same part, just superseded numbers. I cant find a picture of the 05019035AA.
376AC is called a "Arm Package" while 035AA is just called "Link". I have a feeling 035AA is included in the larger 376AC package? Here's the only graphic I could come up with.

Yes, that's the arm! The screw in end is stripped and the other "heim" joint end is broken. Not sure if I will have to replace the end that it attaches to also since it won't slip back on as far as I can tell.

IIRC, the "heim" end is bolted on with a T40 ball stud. So, you really can't snap it back on, which is why it broke. The other end is stripped probably from the hamfist on the assembly line. Just rethread with a tap and it should be as good as new.
That rod is $125!
Maybe I'll just make my own, not much different than an adjustable alternator bracket

Junk yard time! IIRC, I showed $60 retail for the arm alone, $140 for the "kit" that I couldn't bring up.
Stupid thing is stripped out again; I'm going to punch the hole larger and put a nut zerk in into thread into.
do you have room for a lock nut on the back side? or maybe some red locktite?

It is actually inside the frame with no access, not enough teeth left for locktite
