I am until the end of the month; have been visiting family & friends over here for the summer. If you were at the big summer show at Plunkett's place and saw the two Deloreans, one of those was my Dad.

Bumping this up because last night at the gas station I filled up next to a hot rodded Divco. Flat yellow, Big V8 burble, twin exhausts smoothed into the rear valence. A Very grassroots type of build right down to the homemade moon discs.

It was quite simply the most awesome vehicle I have ever stood near....not in an 80's "dude, thats awesome!" kind of way but in a deeper sense of the word awesome with a lot more emphasis on the "Awe" part. It made my absurd Fiat seem boring and pedestrian in comparison. The driver was calculating his fuel economy on a piece of scrap paper and looked pretty happy with the result.

He seemed to have addressed the standing while driving issue with a rasied section in diamond plate aluminum for the pedals so, while he could stand in the drivers area when seated the position it looked no different from any pickup truck.

What really suprised me was the length of the thing. It was short. Like S10 blazer short. For such a tall and large seeming thing the proportions seemed perfect.

I am absolutely in love
