Funny--that happened so quick, I wasn't even that aware of it.
As for R-comps--no haven't tried them on the BMod--not sure if that would work on a 790lb car--if anything, I'd like to try some of the uber-soft Avon UK hillclimb tires.
Wouldn't we all. Didn't somebody win EP on those a while back?
I think Elam might have had A6's on the RX3. I know that Jason Collett runs A6's on his XP car.
...but those are much heavier than a BM "car".

790#?? Bastard! The Radical scales at over 1220 w/ my sweaty ass and post-race fuel load. I thing I'm going to drop in a Hayabusa engine and ballast up to CSR.
Ours is at the 1020 minimum with me on board and 3 gallons of fuel.

That surface looks really, really bad. Do you guys weed before course set up?
No, we just send the stock cars out first to knock down the weeds. In fact, I happened to be the very first car on the course that day. Per was announcing while I ran.

I would have preferred first runs before the marbles showed up in force on outside corner entry.
I've always loved those cars. Back in the 80s I thought I'd end up in a Sports Racer one day..but then the "track day cars" showed up, and you can't run up front without a Radical dealer and a $40K check. Oh, well!
motomoron, I'm sure they'd welcome you..CSR is really behind on car count this year. Currently at 2.1, I think-they need entries nationwide to keep National status.
Per: are y'all having trouble finding sites? That place sure looks rough. Ex-airport, I presume?
Actually, it's a closed runway in an active airport. And fortunately, that's not our only site. We have one more there this month, then next month we run on a go-kart track on the infield of Daytona Speedway:
Kart track arial view
We also have the back straight at Sebring (huge!) and a few other parking lot and airport sites. Not really hurting for sites, but they are spread out over a large area.
Per, nice save during the tankslapper on that second run!

Oooh! That looks pretty! Wish we had someplace like that here in Atlanta.
And I'd be stoked just to touch the backstraight at Sebring. That's hallowed ground to me.
um wait, is the idea to hit cones or not hit cones?..i'm confused.

You would think that with a city as big as Atlanta, we would have more than three Solo venues. There really needs to be one north of town somewhere. I REALLY like the one at the Ted, and the one at Six Flags is big, but the one at AMS leaves a little to be desired.
