I wouldn't turn any of them down at this point, but yeah. Bubble-back for the win.

I think that’s the good part about Fox bodies: more than just one car to have.
Capri? Yes!
Saleen? Also yes.
Early or late GT? Sure.
SVT Cobra? Way.
5.0 LX? Of course.
SVO? You can see where this is going.

Someone say Draglites?
My LX hatch was the first car I ever bought new. Wanted a 'notch, but couldn't find one on a lot...
In 20-20 hindsight, they weren't that great, but in the late '80's they were pretty awesome. Back then, having an 11 second street car was pretty serious cred. Had a LOT of great experiences with that car.
The car listed is a pretty fair ask. A similar mileage car, but all original brought $26k recently on C&B. The interior has been re-done custom in this one... looks like a re-do of the factory seats, and they lost a bit of shape in the process. The V8 cars had a little more bolster... those almost look like 4 cyl seats, but the ad says it's an original V8. There are a LOT of swaps out there, especially notchbacks.
I'd love to add one to the fleet, but I don't know if the nostalgia is enough to justify the current prices for me.

A kid I knew down the street from us did obtain one of those cars and let me drive it--man, talk about a lot of FUN! It was the first car I ever drove (at that time) that could handle fairly well and you could lay out a nice 4 wheel drift on a long sweeper, like poetry, bliss, and euphoria for a kid that was used to 4 cylinder weakness.
I am agreeably a "heathen." Some time in the mid-to-late '90s, I bought the drivetrain out of a CHP Mustang (trunk) that had been wrapped around a tree. It was a great deal--I even took the nasty seats. All wound up in a 1967 Mustang that I have no internet-able pictures of . . .
Brought this 347 5 speed coupe home this week. Gave a close friend a 90 day loan and I pick a car from his fleet. I chose this one with Georgia title (rare). 1989 Florida Highway Patrol Mustang.
W1677 Police Cream Yellow and M1724 Ford Black.
There is a Georgia State Patrol coupe in the shop too.

I still have a soft spot for the somewhat goofy styling of the MkVii, and it kind of seems like you can still find decent ones at somewhat reasonable prices.

People who lived it. You either had a vert, hatchback, or notchback. Heathen.
Where I lived it was simply a "notch". Never heard anybody actually say notchback unless they were trying to sound all scholarly.

Very cool. Maybe one day JG and I can team up on doing one.
I had an 85. Last year of the carb I think and four headlights. 200 hp was never so much fun and sounded fantastic.
