Have the hots for a Nissan Skyline but the need for four doors? Step right up and check out this 1997 Nissan Laurel Club S 25T.
It’s purple.
It has a manual box.
It’s priced like a new Mazda3.
It has less than 100,000 miles on the clock.
And it’s already here in the Stat…

No, it's not better than a skyline, but damn I want it. That's a gorgeous sedan.
I'd drive it to the grocery store

I dig it.
You get an RB engine without having the attention a Skyline brings.
After being a wallflower for 40+ years, I enjoy the attention a skyline brings

As much as a skyline is pretty much the apex of my gran turismo fuelled teens and 20s, I think i'd rather have the Laurel. Luxury rides appeal to me

Is it common enough with anything to LHD swap it?

Wouldnt be shocked if it was done in somewhere like the Phillipines. They've converted RHD cars into LHD due to laws there.
In reply to aw614 :
I have actually discussed that very issue with a friend who lives there. Yeah, even when he had an STI Type RA, he had to swap it from RHD.
No exclusion for you.

That's my turn off with a lot of JDM imports. I just don't want anything to do with a RHD vehicle.
It's like learning to ride a bike, then having to learn a unicycle. I'm sure I can figure it out eventually, but I'd rather just have the bicycle.

Driving RHD is no biggie. It's a pain to pass because you have to hang back far enough to see around the vehicle in front of you, you can't use drive through's, atms you can technically go backwards but people give you funny looks. It's a bit awkward to shift at first but mainly because you're thinking about it, once you relaxe and focus on the road vs shifting it's not bad.
In reply to Mr. Lee :
We once saw a dude going through a drive-thru in a JDM car. I believe he was alone. I’m guessing all involved figured it out and he got his food.
I have driven RHD and, yeah, you eventually get used to it. Not saying it’s for everyone, though.
Just had a thought: find a RHD version of an American car–like one of those Saturns set up for mail delivery.
(Or just drive the car from Corvette Summer.)
A few years ago you could still order a rhd jeep wrangler for rural mail carriers.
In reply to pheller :
It's not that bad. You get exercise and shorter lines by actually going inside and not using drive-ups.
Shifting took all of 20 minutes to get normalized. Now I track mine all of the time (The whole reason I got my specific one in the first place)

If this is what you are after, they drop in quite easily to the Z32 chassis and solve some of the "hateful engine bay" issue at the same time. Capable of similar levels of power to the VG30DETT.
The Skid Factory in Australia just had a couple videos about a very nice Nissan Laurel:
