There's no chance that's going to the crusher, it's too valuable. Someone's either going to get a sweet deal on a nice car, or they'll make bank with an easy flip.

No. You do have to be registered with them. I bought an E46 M3 from them that had been repossessed. Though the car was drivable they have a policy that purchased vehicles leave on a truck or trailer.

Depends on your state. State law makes me go through a broker.
If you're buying a salvage title, check your state laws on who can get it titled and inspected correctly. Again, my state you need a special cert.
It has an aftermarket radiator, which depending on the brand would be a good thing. Would need to source a shift knob but that's no big deal. Looks like a replacement top with glass rear window which would be a plus for some. Torn drivers seat bottom, and interior bits need work but can be sourced. Could be a good car for the right person. Hopefully the hood shuts tight.
Says clear title, does that change when sold by copart? Think I may have to jump in on this.

Just gambled a hundred bucks and joined. Now I have to wait until they approve everything. But what the heck, I have 1 location a mile away and another a half hour away. Now if I slap a plate on it and call AAA for a tow home....

you need to be careful about how the titling aspect works. Pennsylvania is actually a crap state to live in for copart purchasing. Our buying power is limited.

Yeah, I'm in N.Y.. There's a copart within a half hour from my house... I know a guy that's a dealer he's always telling me about cool stuff he has found and bought there.. I'm stocked up at the moment.. 99 528 msport sedan, 09 mustang convertible and 63 Mercury Comet s22 convertible...

Interesting it says "donated vehicle". Makes me wonder if Copart is facilitating a vehicle donation many PBS stations are often touting. Bid to $1350 as I type this and still hasn't met reserve. The reserve part seems strange, though...

I believe it will be in regards to what the status of the title is. If it's a clean title, I don't know of any reason a normal tag store wouldn't process it. I'm more used to seeing salvage title cars sold through Copart, which may be more involved.
I didn't realize Copart was located so far north of Philly (off the NE Ext opposit of Quakertown). I was expecting it to be near the airport where a lot of places like this seem to be.
I live in PA and have purchased through Copart so I'm not sure of the "problems." There are many fees with Copart that you should be aware of before purchasing but not much else to worry about. Salvage titles need an advanced inspection at a qualified advanced inspection station to get a rebuilt title.
Yes, this is how a lot of donated cars end up being sold.

My local Goodwill auto auction that used to be in person switched to selling everything through Copart.
It's at $1900 but the reserve still hasn't been met. Even if it sells for $2500 -$3000 or so there will be another $650-$750 in Copart fees
Just ended at 3000, had a reserve on it so it was "on approval".
