Your Fleet Number of Cars vs Number of Manufacturers

Time for something silly

How many cars do you have versus the number of different manufacturers in your fleet.

I've got six cars representing six manufacturers

Datsun

Ford

Hyundai

Lexus

Novakar

Subaru

On motorcycles I've got a Beta & a Honda so I appear to have a one to.k e ratio of vehicles versus manufacturer. 

Six cars, three manufacturers.  (1 Volvo, 2 VW, 3 Mazda)

What is neat is the Volvo has more valves than the rest of the cars combined, and an equal number of camshafts.

Seven

3 Porsche

1 Audi

1 Opel

1 VW

1 Toyota

or, depending on how you look at it:

5 VAG

1 GM/Pugout (depends when)

1 Toyota

or if you look at it another way:

18 horizontal

6 V

8 vertical

We have 5 cars (1 Volvo, 1 Ford, 2 Mazdas, 1 Triumph), and one motorcycle (Triumph).

Five cars. Three marques: Ford, Lincoln, Mercury. But really just one manufacturer, Ford Motor Company.

I admit to having had to rack my brain a bit.  "Three?  I though the 323GTX was gone..."

My Volvo was built in Sweden when Ford owned Volvo.  All three of my Mazdas were built in Hiroshima but two were when Ford had a large ownership stake.  And one of my VWs was built in Pennsylvania.

At least it isn't as confusing as the Volvo that I used to have that was built in Holland with Japanese bits.

Chevy, dodge, ford, mazda x2, berkeleying mercedes.  And two honda bikes.

10 cars  5 makes  

Although the GMC and Chevrolet are interchangeable. The  Honda is actually my wife's car.

Well, yea. I really should dismantle the .5 and scrap the shell but parts take up space inside.

Lotus, BMW (2), Audi, Ford (3), Chevy (3), Mazda, and Saab for 7 manufactures over 12 cars total.

I grew up with my grandparents.  My grandfather hated cats. HAAAATED cats.  I was about four before I knew that they were "cats" and not "damncats".  Apparently, I saw one in the backyard and said "Look, ma, a damncat!" and was corrected.

Honda, Honda, Porsche, Porsche, Toyota, Volvo (technically, it's the dog's).

6 vehicles, 3 Mazda, 1 each Audi, BMW, and Chevrolet.

7 turbos between them.

The BMW has the same number of throttle plates as the rest of the cars put together. :)
