My brother's pushing me to buy an old NASCAR or circletrack car - a lot of them are stupid-cheap if not well-used. He said at the last trackday event, there was a guy with a NASCAR-type truck that he'd bought complete without drivetrain for $3000. Said it was incredibly fun to drive with even a dead-stock LS drivetrain. Hard to ignore that.
