What's with the cargo fork brace? Looks like it's resting on the tire, what is it and what does it do?

It rest on the top of tire and bottom of triple tree. You put it there when bike it strapped down so you don't have to squish suspension.

Oh E36 M3! Where do I get one?
Edit, is there one for street bikes? Lol I need one for lower triple tree to fender top

Got it from a local motorcycle shop. Was like $10. Well worth it. Ill snap a pic of how I tie down street bikes for ya
Professor_Brap (Forum Supporter) said:So a downfall of drz ownership is the damn horn. Tired to get mine working, bike didn't have one with i got it. The wires to the horn arnt broke, the issue is in the switch. Took apart the switch and found the switch bad. Hit up amazon for a Simi permanent solution.
I never use a horn on this bike so it works perfectly.
I'm imagining someone doing hooligan supermoto stuff, ringing that little bell the whole time. It's hilarious. Ring ring, it's wheelie time!

Did a big ol stoppie up to my mom today and when I stopped I rang the bell.
Had to pull it apart to fix a valve cover leak, was leaking where cam humps where. New valve cover, new bolt gromets last time I did it. A thin layer of rtv seemed to do the trick.
Rear master cylinder reservoir was looking gunky.
Finest Chinese reservoir to the rescue.
Fresh fluid and feels wonderful.
100 miles on Saturday running around getting parts to fix floor in glh. Buzzing around town on a supermoto with a backpack and a beautiful day is nothing better.
100 around town is usually on and off a dozen times, lots of stop and go etc. 100 on the highway is meh, but around town that's getting after it, I know, I do it too except on a bike less ideal for curb jumping
In reply to Justjim75 :
It doesn't help I had to run 2 towns over twice that's 10 miles one way. It is really the best run around bike.

I'll go through and do them all tonight. Drz is getting the milage pounded on and having a riot doing it. It just runs and runs and runs almost due for a oil change. Need to do a plug it's is cold starting a little hard.
Also got a new bell. I chuckle every time I see it.

Fork seals, fork bushings, springs, valving and fork oil. Shock spring, oil and seals.
Suspension is resprung and rebuilt and man I love this bike even more. At 285lbs the bike felt soft, so had my buddy who is a racetech certified suspension tuner.
Rear shock
6.3 spring rate race tech
15 weight shock fluid
High speed adjust 1.5
10 compression
12 rebound
165 pounds nitro
Sag 100
Front forks
15 weight fork fluid
8 compression
10 rebound
Bike feels more balanced and doesn't bottom out over large curbs. In the corners it is less twitchy over bumps.
