I haven't followed AMA dirt track in a long time and it looks like the rules have changed significantly. Are they still using the XR750 or is it no longer capable of meeting the rules for Twins?

The premier twins class allows for "race only" motors with a displacement and throttle body diameter cap, the Indian falls under this. HD factory riders are on a Street 750 XG750 motor with DOHC heads. Last year they were considered race motors, this year they get a pass as a street based motor (which can be 900cc and a larger TB) because some iteration of the Harley 750 is supposed to be using something vaguely similar. They literally just announced that rule change, I have to read more why.
