Damn Michigan's geographical location (and my complete lack of funds to buy more bikes).... Take some pictures to post. I love me some old 2 wheelers.

Wow, this looks like it would be fun to attend even without intending to bid on anything. Of course knowing myself I'm sure if I did go I would accidentally come home with a new bike.

I've got a friend in Austin, TX that's selling a Ural with a sidecar and trailer. It's no Harley, but if you are looking for something with the same aesthetic, it's available for a very reasonable price.

They orginaly started out as a machine shop 4 generations ago then were britsh bike dealers then CZ's and husky dirt bikes then one of the first 5 honda dealers in the US and got suzcki with in there fist few years importing. Yes they love hondas infact theres a few bikes that were / are the 1st of that model to be imported in the sale. I've personaly known 3 generations of Bettencourts. Great people, racers and suporters of motocycling.

Man, does that bring back memories of my misspent youth.... is that CZ a twin piper? For those not 'in the know', 'twin pipers' were single cylinder bikes with spit exhaust ports and two expansion chambers. Sooper hi tech for the time!

Read through the list, a few Honda SL70's (started MXing on one of those!) SL125's, Elsinores, a Hodaka Dirt Squirt, XL250's (I wanted one of those so bad when they came out), all KINDS of 'memory machines'. Guess it's good I am in no poistion to bid on any of it...

How about a Rickman framed Honda CB750?

Again for those unfamiliar with old bikes, Rickman was a British manufacturer of custom frames and fiberglass tanks, fenders etc which made for much lighter weight and better handling than the heavy clunkers of the era. Beautiful stuff; they were nickel plated. They also built complete bikes.

There was a picture of another CB750 'four piper', I swear it was a 'sandcast' which would make it a very early bike.

yup two Ossa motors on custom crank. Intresting you could index the crank to be a twin or a twingle (twin but fireing as a single both at same time)

Found one years ago at sky salvage but never rode it.

I went to the auction and it was a mob scene. The bikes that were sold while I was there, were sold for 3-4 times what I thought they were worth. I left after an hour or so.

P.S. If anyone talks to Rennie Bryant, tell him that I said hi. It has been a couple of years since we spoke.
