Just picked this up on Thursday night, and then set out for a 1k+ mile ride on Friday. So happy :D

And of course that lovely Italian build quality had to show through:

That is gorgeous!

How did it feel on the trip? I just took my SV650 on a 1k mile journey across PA and back and at times I really wished I had a fairing.

First thing to do is get those frame sliders, that is a real nice bike.

Good luck and keep it shiny side up!

Pretty fantastic, actually. Easily holds an 80-85mph indicated cruise and the wind-blast isn't an issue. The only problem is the seat to peg relationship is VERY tight, I was feeling it in my legs for 2 days afterward. Abysmal fuel economy and tank range. Luggage accommodations are less than elegant but possible.

Aren't most Italian bikes designed for tiny Italian jockeys?
