They were still making this bike in the 1994-1995 timeframe when I worked at a Schwinn shop. The owner joked that I should get one, and he'd pay for it if I managed to break it.

Man, I really need to build a Klunker. The picture from your very first post was the background on my computer for a bit, that thing is awesome! But your Schwinn is great, I love that you left the original paint. I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for an old cruiser.

Thanks, but I'm going to do my best to salvage an old cruiser from the landfill, see if I can put together a klunker from the trash. :-)
