I found this out over the weekend and thought I would pass it along.
At the Post Office I picked up a change of address packet (COA). Inside it is a Lowes Coupon good for 10% off any in-stock or special order items up to $5,000 ($500 coupon savings.) The saving applies to everything on one receipt (not just one item.)
The best part is that the coupon punches out to be the size of a business card and there seems to be no limit on how many COA forms you can take from the Post Office. The COA forms are placed in the self service part of the Post Office so there is no need to speak with anyone there to get more coupons.
So, in my wallet I have a neat little stack of 10% off coupons at my ready use. Also nice to know is that Home Depot will honor the coupon as well, maybe even other stores.
So if I go buy a load of lumber for a storage building, I can take 10% off?

Yep, I did it when I moved in and bought everything at once. Buy the lumber, hard ware, lights everything up to the $5000 limit.
I'll be doing that. Momma needs new windows.

Pick up a bunch of coupons and place them in your wallet. Now everytime you go there you can get 10% off. No need to buy it all in one big trip.

While we're sharing coupons, here's a 20% off any one item at Harbor Freight good until the end of the month. I printed out 5 or so copies and keep them in the car. In this case, it's better to NOT buy everything at once!

Cool beans. I just picked up a few at the PO. My kits also had a decent 10% off Best Buy coupon. We have been discussing the TV and it's projected life, this may come in handy too - valid through 9/30/09

Damn. I went to the Post Office this morning, then to Home Depot on the way home.
