Not in any danger of bleeding to death or anything. Just an interesting non-stop bleed.
Stupidly spun the wheel on the Miata with my fingers in the spokes. The brake caliper stopped the wheel spin with my fingers. Ow. Big ow actually, the kind that makes you almost throw up and leaves you dizzy for a bit. Smashed two knuckles nicely. Not too swollen now, but the one is nice and shiny. Both are stiff as heck, of course.
The interesting thing is the smash split on the one finger hasn't stopped bleeding yet, and it's been over 12 hours how. It just leaks blood continuously.
Gonna be a bit messy riding tomorrow, I suspect. I'll just remember to bring a bunch of bandaids.

Put super glue on it. Seriously.
The girls on here will call you a Bob Costas for complaining about only bleeding for 12 hours.
Don't trust anything that bleeds for 12 hours and doesn't die.

The medical version of Super Glue is called Dermabond.
That has been a fear of mine for as long as I've been working on cars. Thank God I've never actually done it. Makes my skin crawl just thinking about it.
A Popsicle stick, a large band-aid and some electrical tape works like a charm on badly busted knuckles. If you don't stop bending it, it will take forever to heal.
No. I tried superglue before. Got it into the wound, which hurt like heck. Then it set up like a brittle knife blade. That just sucked.
Electrical tape is an old wound friend. That and a wad of paper towel. This never bled enough to need it. Well, a few times, maybe. Kinda interesting how it would come and go.
In my typical red-neck(ish) fashion, I worked all day. Actually, as long as I keep flexing them, things aren't too bad. Let them set for an hour and they get real stiff.
I boxed the edge of an electrical panel stripping a piece of wire. It cut the hell out of my middle finger, right across the knuckle, parallel to my finger. That one bled off and on for three days and I ended up using the, stick, tape, bandage, for a couple of weeks. Same problem though, keep bending it and it wouldn't hurt but it would bleed. Stop bending it, it would stop bleeding and it would set up like concrete. I still have the scar from that one and that was 20 years ago.
Good luck.
You need to close the wound the best you can, super glue works yes but you need to get the 2 sides on the split to get closer so you're body can heal.
Might want to get some medical attention soon, nothing aside from a Bob Costas should bleed that much....

On more than one occasion I have stitched large wounds closed with a regular needle and thread. You could try that.

Anything with lidocane/benzocaine (teething lotion, some anti-itch sticks for bug bites, some aloe skin treatments for after sunburns) will numb the nerves a little before you do that.
Naturally, Hess's advice will be the most useful here. Hopefully he chimes in soon....
My wife goes 13 days without dying so no worries there but man does it make her mean.
See a doctor.

When I used to be a mechanic, the old-timers recommended soaking your wound in the solvent tank. "It cauterizes the wound" they said. I think they're all dead now. I can't be around solvents at all any more. I miss the smell though.
I use a dirty rag and electrical tape... Leaves a dark scar but your body will eventually absorb the dirt, grease, metal shavings, acetone, paint, gasoline and diesel ointment.

I need a drink. And some cold bacon.
I sheared the tip of my right ring finger off by spinning a panasport wheel and hitting the caliper on my e30 checking for clearance issues. Same nauseating pain. It clipped the bone and meat and only a flap of skin held it together long enough for the docs to stitch it back together.
I took the tip of my right index finger with a razor blade. Right to the bone, half the nail gone.. never found the part I cut off..
Within weeks, you would have never known it. Not even a scar

And I'm going riding with this guy today?
Last motorcycle ride I partnered on was with a guy named Darwin (yes, really). Was also the first time I crashed my bike and tore up my knee. Maybe I should stick to solo.
Physicians have a saying: "All bleeding stops." Maybe it is just Surgeons that have that saying. Anyway, If it's still bleeding this morning, maybe it's time for some professional attention.
All bleeding stops when the tank is empty.
See someone!
Man I've done the same thing many times before when checking drum brake drag, I've always been extra careful to use the very tips of my fingers as far out on the spoke as possible for just that reason.
I'd try butterfly bandages first, if they don't work I'd see Med Express docs.
If your blood doesn't congeal in a short time, there is something wrong with your blood or you have cut a blood vessel. Get it looked at.
