The fly-n-buy gets closer. The gal who is selling me this 1990 Acura Integra tells me the tires are older, but low-mileage, and the spare has never been out of the trunk.
I figure a couple Honda/Acura steelies with tires might be cheap insurance.
There's probably a tool kit in the trunk, but in case there isn't, what lug wrench will I need to buy? (can't pack tools in a carry-on any more :( )
And can any Seattle-area folks point me to a DIY junkyard, hopefully south of SEATAC on I-5. Thanks!

The Tacoma yard says they have a 89, 90 and 91. Tumwater says they have a 91 and 94. Lynnwood is a bit north, but they have a 87 and 91.

19mm is stock lug nut size
I would buy a 4 way folding lug wrench. Then you will have max capability with ease of storage. I love mine.
Quickly googling brings this for $12 at Walmart.
I personally would likely skip the used tires and instead buy a AAA package. If the tire does need changed, AAA will do it. If the spare can not be used AAA will tow you to a garage who can sell you a tire.
The AAA could also be handy for things other than tires.
How much is two steel rims and two used tires, mounted, going to cost?
I've never had any luck going to junk yards for tires. You might try a used tire shop in the area. There's one in Tacoma very near my house. If you'd like I can snag the tires for you and you can just swing on by when you grab the car.

When is the fly and drive? I live 40 minutes south of SeaTac and might be able to assist.
