There's a first generation Honda Prelude for sale, parked on the side of the street along my daily commute. It looks unusually clean for its age, and since this forum is full of people who like oddball cars I thought I'd mention it.
For anyone in the area who may be interested, it's on the corner of 50th street and Oliver Avenue in SW Minneapolis.

50th and Oliver? That's not too far from where I work actually (494 and France) maybe I take a peeksie at it one night.
You're pretty close by - my office is just west of you, 77th street and hwy 100.

I got one of those for free in 1988 and it was a totally rusted out piece of E36 M3 then. I can't imagine how one survived to this date in Minnesota, unless it was preserved in a glacier like a woolly mammoth.
Yeah, I was surprised to see one here. They're one of those cars that are pretty much extinct. I didn't notice any visible rust, but then again I was driving 30mph as I went by.

We had a 1st gen Accord with fenders that began to perforate before the warranty ran out. Honda had to replace them. Those cars rusted like nothing I've ever seen. Too bad, because they were otherwise good cars. I drove a 2nd gen Prelude up until I bought the Miata in 1990. Compared to the Miata, it felt like a truck.
Back in 1981 I "introduced" a co-worker who was a dyed-in-the-wool Fiat fanatic to the 1st gen. Prelude outside the gym on our local Navy base. Even back then we thought it was an oddity with it's tach within the speedo instrument panel and it's oddball radio and other "auxiliary" controls. But what really turned him off to it? It was FWD.
