You knew it was on Nissans radar since they mentioned the word "Datsun" as a budget brand, and the Toyobaru saw the light of day.
Ok, thats nice, clearly they plan to make the next generation Z more like the original Z, just like they claimed they did with the current design. Thats all well and good, but dammit! I WANT A MODERN DAY DATSUN 510 WITH AN INLINE 4 MANUAL GEARBOX AND RWD!
Don't bother telling me about Nissan until that happens. 
Oh, Nissan, in the unlikely event that you are actually listening, a real mini truck like my old 620 kingcab would be cool too.

Insert comment about the car eventually being everything that everyone asked for, and still everyone complains bitterly about it.
Its nissan and the way they have been styling cars I don't have high hopes for it looking good.
