Fixing the Oldsmoboat.
Edit:
And if I get my act together and we're staying up here, get started on project "build a proper shop". Fortunately we have the land and the precedent (neighbour has a nice shop), just got to cover the monetary angle and draw up some plans.
To not miss a good opportunity to enjoy life in new place, with new people, news jobs, and new adventures.
Not buy alcohol.
I'm going to make everything I drink this year (which is a lot) or at least know the person who made the stuff I drink.
Get on top of finances instead of the other way around. Money woes suck and feel like the single biggest stressor in my life.
Enjoy myself more.
My mom gave me some advice about a month ago. Don't wait too long. Spend some money, have some fun. I'll be 53 in a few weeks, and I have to stop being so damn cheap.

Not really resolutions, but it is time for a change . . .
Do more of the things I want and less of the stuff I'm not interested in. I find as I get older I can't fake it. Doing this makes me a better husband and father. Might make for an interesting conversation at work with my boss.

This is a great one. I was just getting ready to reply with essentially the same thing.
Best of luck to you with it.
I need to get healthy, and stick to it.
I need to do better at my day job so I can earn a promotion.
I need to get my CSX out of the garage and on the road.
And I need to finally begin to put pen-to-paper and start my journey as a writer/blogger. I have so many automotive-themed ideas bouncing around in my head that I think people would love to hear, and I have opened a BIG door that will allow me to do this, but like everything else, I have to find the time to do it.

In my early drinking days, I used to get wasted on New Years and drunkenly declare what "Year" it was. In the past, there have been ones such as 2004, The Year of Toughness, and 2006, the Year of Bad Smells. This year, I didn't drink a drop (I was sick and I'm getting old), but I still declared a year.
2015: The Year of Upgrades!
Time for me to upgrade my E36 M3! Upgrade the house, upgrade my job, upgrade the cars, etc. You get the idea! Yesterday, we upgraded our tools by getting that tire machine in the Classifieds.
For me, only two:
1) make it to 2016
2) travel a bit more for my wife and I, which requires cutting back a bit in what we do for a number of organizations - but I need to do that anyhow to encourage more participation by others.
Silver Fleet: On the writing, just do it. I started 30 years ago and it led to more good things than I can possibly recount. The big thing is: place butt in chair, and try to do something every day, or at least regularly. It's like an exercise program. Do a little every day, even if it's just research, rewriting or correspondence. We're all eager to read the results.
