TL;DR click to donate
So yeah, I'm proud of my 15-year-old daughter. She has ridden in a Bike MS fundraiser with me every year since reaching the minimum age of 12. For those struggling with the maths, this is our 4th ride together. She's a ballerina, I'm a gear-head. Riding is one thing we both love, and I know I'm blessed to share this with her.
If you've still got money in your budget for charity, and you think the National MS Society is worthy, please click the link above to donate to Sarah's fundraising effort.
Thanks!
Thanks to everyone who has donated so far! This is a great community, and I'm fortunate to be part of it.
Sarah is still a good bit shy of her goal. Know anyone with Multiple Sclerosis? Got $20 you could toss her way in their honor?

Thanks!
Our ride is this weekend. This will be my final pre-ride push for donations. :-).
Berkeley You, Multiple Sclerosis!
Done. Keep up the good work.

Day 1 report: due to school and work schedules, Sarah and I only had two rides under our belts before today. Both were under 20 miles. So this morning we decided to take the 69-mile option. Into a headwind for the first 30 miles. While we could have gutted it out, I decided that the risk of losing her enthusiasm for riding just wasn't worth it, so we threw in the towel at the lunch stop (about 53 miles in) and took the SAG wagon to the finish.
Tomorrow we ride 30 miles, then spend a couple days chilling in Ocean City MD.
After the initial pain of sitting on the bike seat, the miles flew by and we were done with today's 30 miles before we knew it. Last mile today was our fastest of the weekend, almost 18 mph. I'm looking forward to doing a lot more riding this year!
