I liked hearing how relatively inexpensive these were until I re-read that it was in Canada.  Doh!

Every since 2008 in high school when i first got to drive a 350Z (with manual trans) the Z car has been on my radar.  The curvy body, the liftback shape and the exhaust note.  Stock, not bad.  But an aftermarket muffler or a muffler delete and this things just sound lovely.

I hope the 370 can come down in price on the used car market so I can finally own one

Wow.  Just, wow.  Subjective things are subjective.

Our club runs drifting events.  I can tell you from personal experience that an unmuffled VQ will cause flocks of birds to fall dead from the sky, dogs within a half-mile radius to howl like werewolves, and your ears to bleed like they're dying of dysentery.

In reply to Duke :

I suspect most of those drift cars have resonator deletes in addition to muffler deletes. A VQ with a muffler delete sounds fine, a VQ with a resonator delete sounds like a nuclear-powered trombone

I'm with Duke. I've never heard a VQ that sounds good, except for one with a quiet stock exhaust. Doesn't matter what exhaust or mods performed, VQs always sound like Chewbacca gargling broken glass.
