I applaud you for working your ass off right to the end. I have done that myself, it's a matter of pride and integrity that a lot of people don't understand.

So here's more icing on the cake that tells me I made the right choice. We are a Doosan dealer (they also own Bobcat). Doosan is a Korean equipment manufacturer. I love Korean cars. Match. Made. In. Heaven.
Hook me up with a mini excavator for "field testing and research" for a couple weeks so i can dig the footing for the addition

I think we're still waiting on bobcat wheelie or burn out videos.
Yesterday I got into a bobcat for the first time in over 20 years. Let's just say things have definitely changed since the last time I was in one. Like... no key. You just punch in a code to start it.

Mini-ex is about the only thing I have in inventory right now. It's busy as all hell for being this late in the year.
This is for OHCSRPQ.........
2 months (?) in. Love the job. Manager of the site is a bit.... challenging. Busy time for me right now on the rental side. Between getting equip to the onsite construction crews, salesmen selling my rental peices faster than I can track one down and the instant surge of demand right now it's definitely stressful. Add in the -vid crap where people are taking tests, waiting two day for results and then coming back in because they're negative leaving us short staffed a lot.
I've got to play with a lot of cool stuff. DX180 Doosan excavators down to the smallest UTV we offer. IT's a good time and with the one previously noted exception I love the guys I work with. One is a friend I've known 20 years (got hired a few weeks after me) and the others feel like I have worked with them for years. All in a good, albeit stressful job where I feel like I am actually helping small businesses get ahead.

If you are working for a company that makes skid steer loaders you might get in a certain amount of trouble for calling them bobcats, unless the company you work for is Bobcat...

We have a 38 year employee retiring this month - top salesman the last 3 years - the guy is a machine.
We are having a luncheon next week. Jimmy John's box lunch; sandwich, chips, chocolate chip cookie, napkin.
These private equity guys are cheap.

fun fact, my position has NOT been filled and they are drowning. I feel bad for my fellow co-workers. The company not so much.

It's the same at my company, I started literally 2 weeks before our buyout from Oracle was complete.
Apparently the company used to rent out one of the nicest restaurants in the city, have door prizes like new iPads and vacations, etc, for the Christmas Party.
Now if we want one, we just have to do a pot luck in the office.

I'm sure our manager will mention due to Covid the JJ's box is also our Holiday luncheon since we can't buy giant aluminum pans of pasta, fried chicken, roast beef, Cole slaw, and baked beans this year.
