I used to own a SAAB 93 B.

What an ignominious ending for such a fine little car!

Seen in the Pittsburgh area while we were at the PVGP.

There's a salvage yard in north Minneapolis that has a Fiat 124 up on a post out front, where you can see it from the freeway. It's been there for years and years, and they have a female mannequin sitting on the hood waving to traffic. The funny thing is they used to dress the mannequin in a bikini until one day someone complained about it, so now she wears a dress instead.

There used to be an round tail Spitfire on a pole at Cline Hydraulics in Greenville, SC. Its been gone a while. Last time I was there I noticed the floor pans were totally gone.

Somewhere I have traveled to (I forget where) has a Beechcraft 18 on a pole.

Seen many aircraft on poles. Saw a Beech 18 on a pole in Fairbanks, Alaska. We have several helicopters on sticks at work. Place I used to live has a VW Bug on the roof. They sell import car parts. Seen other cars and trucks on poles.

There's a car dealer near here with a banged-up 90s Civic sedan (same gen as the EG hatch, forget the sedan's chassis code) mounted upside-down outside as some sort of marketing ploy. Not as cool as a classic car but interesting nonetheless.

Actually, here, thanks to street view:
