Y'all are a scary bunch. Flying up my right side at 85mph and jumping in front of me only to slam your brakes on. So glad I didnt bring my motorcycle on this vacation. I65 has not been pleasant in this state

Sincerely a northerner.

The wife has family in 'Bama. Try driving the curvy and hilly 2-lane state roads. Accidents are usually fatal.

'Bamie drivers in pickup trucks DO NOT tolerate left lane hogs. Even in 'Jersey we don't castigate LLHs like they do down in 'Bamie.

I have driven in every state, I have lived in 6 and there are none as fine as Alabama. Roll Tide, next time go through Atlanta. Slower traffic keep to the right, I bet your daddy did not teach you to drive......

I always liked how Louisville, KY drivers just ignored rainstorms and blasted on down the hwy at 75 or so. Atlanta is easy: everyone speeds. Birmingham is mostly the same, New Orleans people just gave up trying.

yep....85 in a 65, 1 car distance in front of me. I guess that's not allowed as someone always squeezed in.

I think the term is called drafting.

I live north of there near Huntsville and I avoid B'ham during peak hours like a plague.

I have driven in every state in the southeast and used to commute on 285 in Atlanta everyday. The most annoying drivers to me was as soon as I hit the South Carolina state line on I20. The 'necks in pickups there drive like idiots and the Columbia thugs remind me of driving in Atlanta just a little bit lower collective IQ.

I've driven in plenty of states... AL drivers don't even come close to making the top 5... dem dar fowks downz inz lousiana shore dew.

er sorry... ya... them coon asses are the worst drivers I've ever come across and thats after driving in rush hr through Houston, Chicago, and atlanta... every time I had to drive from FL to TX I absolutely dreaded LA... last week I had to goto MI and driving most of the way though LA would have been faster (on paper)...

also the roads (interstate specific) in LA are worse then OH, IN, IL, or even MI... and that says something

Charleston drivers take the cake for bad drivers in the USA with Nola a close second IMHO. Only problem I have really had driving around Alabama is no one seems to know what a turn signal is.

Any of you yahoos driven in Austin, TX yet? I'm from Alabama, went back there about 8 years ago and wasn't nearly as bad as Austin, where I was living then. I kinda miss that area, I lived in Calera, right off I-65. Beautiful country there.

People in Austin cannot drive to save their lives. Wrecks daily for stupid stuff. The ROT (Republic Of Texas) bike rally that has their huge meet in Austin every year has at least 10 deaths because people just don't pay attention or care. You have people from about 6 different countries and countless states imported there for Dell, Samsung, IBM, Apple, Google, Facebook, etc. and they all clash in driving styles. It's a damn mess and I don't miss it at all.

Turn indicators are used to taunt other drivers! "LOOK, I'm changing lanes and you can't do anything about it!!"
