Hi folks, I've been following this guy for several years now:
https://youtube.com/user/coldwarmotors
He's trying to get to 60K subscribers, he needs to get another ~1400 or so to make this goal. If you can, it would be great to get Scott to this milestone.
Thanks, Paul

I've been subscribed over there for years after hearing about the channel here. It's inexplicably compelling - I quite enjoy it.
In reply to 02Pilot :
Yeah, it was the same for me. I got hooked when he was restoring the 1960 Fury.

For me it was the straight-8 shootout.
Thanks folks, much appreciated!
I got hooked on coldwarmotors when they had the straight 8 challenge, made me consider buying a '50 Packard.
Already subscribed and hooked.
Scott and his agents are a hoot.
If you like his show, also check out Carter Auto Restyling - I found him through Coldwar and he's more of the same, a quirky Canadian who does magic with hopelessly rusted vehicles.
Subbed! This looks like everything all about GRM stuff. Sometimes I hate Youtubes algorithms. I feel like there's a lot of cool stuff I never see. This one has never popped up in my feed.

Same here, although I have no idea how I found the channel many years ago.
It's the right mix of approachable characters, oddball cars, craftsmanship without pretense, slightly beery humor, and not being yelled at.
In reply to DarkMonohue :
I really like your quote: "...craftsmanship without pretense..."
I couldn't have said it better. And I'm totally stealing it!

I hope it serves you well. That concept is about 7/10 of what I like about CWM (Dean's Greasy Flips being 2/10, and the relentless effing around of the Western Canadian Frankers being the final 10%). It's infinitely more enjoyable to watch Scott coerce a whiskey dent out of some "rare and nobody cares" base-model nothinburger or get excited about the rubber mats in an old cop car than it is to endure some self-indulgent, over-produced, over-the-top shoutfest.
Besides that, half the episodes remind me of one or several Tim Hus songs...
