I just submitted a best offer bid of $125. I added a nice little note that says, "I will gladly give you $125 for your caprice with Ford LTD police interceptor badges stuck to the poorly-painted fenders."

They *certainly* didn't use Ford P71 badging on a Chevy...
I.. uh... sent the seller a question....

My question was, "Why is there a Ford P71 badge on the fender?"

I got an answer tonight, "I SHOWED THE CAR FOR AWHILE. I put those on for show. that's all . nothing more nothing less. Okey I hope your okey know"

They also didn't have Chevy interceptors. No one did.

N Sperlo said: Dear sdstudio542012, I was wondering exactly what Heavy Duty transmission this car has. Specific models are usually referenced if it is a truck transmission for instance. Other times internal modifications have been made. What makes this transmission specifically heavy duty. Often times modifying transmissions can lead to problems. Also, why does it need high octane? And power adders that specify that? Thirdly, why does it have a Ford sticker?

apparently the ad has been tweaked a bit since initially posted... but please note that the car has been babied but runs 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. Prolly all that power from the non stock K&N. You know, cause once I determine that I have the only existing copy of a really rare car thats absolutely valuable, what I do, is rip off factory parts and throw in aftermarket E36 M3 and glue plastic badges to the side. If it doesn't sell this go round, maybe he will swap the badges and it will be an even more rare factory prototype Caprice GTR. Type R. Sport. Or whatever his local autozone has in stock.

Hey, andrave, you seem to know a lot about law enforcement, today. Does the secret service usually buy their cars from dealers in Tallahassee, Florida.

Oh, E36 M3. I'm laughing my ass off. Andrave, you still suck, but I like you; this is the only time I'm admitting it.

So, this was one of the Secret Service cars provided to Warren G. Harding, or Calvin Coolidge?
