Nail guns truly are the bane of the true hammer aficionado.
Hammertime: I blew up those pictures 200%, ran them through Photoshop and measured the arctan radius of the depth of the nailheads. It’s obvious that you were torquing the hammer from right to left when using it, which makes all of the framing you did inconsequenctial and of no use to anyone. A better hammer doesn’t make up for poor technique.

Omg, so true it hurts. It's also why I hate so many car forums. Same stuff. But the phone and photo ones are about the worst of the lot.

That Stiletto TB15SS is actually a pretty nice hammer. In true GRM fashion, though, I still prefer my bare bones Estwing 20oz-er. Bought used, naturally!

For a nail hammer the 20 oz is perfect, but I have way more fun when I get to break out the 4 lb. sledge.
