Very slick surface, need to permanently reattach the mount for the hand held shower head. 
 

Suggestions?

Loctite makes an adhesive in a small caulking tube for just this application. I think it's called power grab. I used it for the lights in my showers, one ceramic tile and one fiberglass. It's been a couple years now so I don't have the tube handy, but there haven't been any problems either.

That sounds good, since the loctite rear view mirror glue for the older GM cars has never failed me.

Yeah +1 on Power Grab. It's great stuff for sticking pretty much anything to pretty much anything else. It also lasts quite a while once you open the tube as long as you cap it.

It sets slooooooooooooow, though. Give the stuff a full 24 hours before you do anything with it.

I used Liquid Nails to attach a towl rack to the glass on our shower encloser about 24 years ago and its still attached.

Silicone caulk.  I have soap dishes, towel hooks, etc. attached to the tile wall that are still secure after 40 years.
