Anyone know of some good non-fiction books about the subject? The CIA-owned airline, not the liberal talk show.

When I was leaving Dallas I saw a satin black jet with no markings on it. Made me curious.....

Before they were known for being crazy, Mel Gibson and Robert Downey Jr. did a documentary on the subject...

I'll vouch for Flying Tiger. My neighbor was a pilot for Flying Tiger, and co-owner of a largish private airport nearby. Lets just say he had some stories to tell and some very interesting aircraft turned up on his taxiways.

I have read several stories, I can not remember the names off hand. I will look through my library tonight. They flew into some amazing strips in imprbable locations.

My dad had a few books on Air America that I should have somewhere in storage. My dad was attached to the Ravens (divorced Air Force special forces that were "plain clothes") from '66-68 and was mostly based out of areas that American soldiers were not suppose to be at the time. I have copies of all oh his orders that he kept and all of his photos he took while over there.

Sadly dad is now suffering from severe dementia and is having trouble remembering much of anything or recognizing what year it is or where he is. He can't actually remember anything prior to his years in the service now and he is constantly remembering events that happened during the war as if they just happened to him.
