That is for sure. I called my father in law (a lifelong Bama fan from back in the Bear Bryant days) after that game ended to make sure he was still alive and not having a stroke. My wife and I are alumni, and we like when Bama wins, but not to the level that some of the old folks do.
Go Dawgs and all credit to that team- that was a much, much better game than the national championship, nailbiter to the end. I'd have loved a rematch there instead of the Notre Dame farce- but no matter what the polls said, SEC-fatigue is so bad elsewhere in the country that ND was in as the "dammit anybody from NOT the south..." choice.
With all that said, I'll still take the win. Roll Tide!
